Am 18. September 2004 fand das Hardstyle-Festival “Q-BASE“ erstmals auf dem Flugplatz von Weeze (Kreis Kleve) statt.
In diesem Jahr – am 10. September – heizten den Tanzjüngern unter anderem so hochkarätige Acts der Szene wie Brennan Heart, Adrenalize, Frequencerz, Wildstylez, Public Enemies, Tha Playah oder Frontliner ein.
Selbstverständlich gibt es auch im Jahre 2016 eine offizielle Festival Compilation (“Q-Base 2016“), die auf vier CDs alles versammelt, was im Techno-und Hardstyle-Bereich derzeit angesagt ist.
Für den Mix des Samplers, dessen Tunes sich als absolute Dancefloor-Filler präsentieren, zeichneten Frequencerz, Tha Playah, Code Black (WE R Special) und The Outside Agency verantwortlich.
